Tax credits are available at 30% of the cost, up to $1,500, in 2009 & 2010 (for existing homes only) for:

  - Insulation

  - Water Heaters (non-solar)

Replacing all existing windows with energy-efficient windows will help to reduce solar heat gain. To qualify for an incentive up to $350, windows must be labeled by the National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC), and have a minimum Solar Heat Gain Coefficiency (SHGC) less than or equal to .40, and a U-factor less than or equal to .65. In addition, the existing structure must have electric whole-house air conditioning. After window replacement is complete, download, print, complete and submit our Window Replacement form, including your proof of purchase (paid receipt) to receive your incentive.
